While interning at a video-game start-up, I was trying to figure out the best cinematic shots for the game's intro. During my first semester of Graduate School, I had picked up 3ds Max as a 3D-modeler during our immersion semester, so I decided to create boxes in 3ds Max to get an idea of how the space would feel.

I found out later that this was a common practice in layout and blocking. A true fusion of 3D and 2D art skills in practice!
