To do: Visit to an Exhibit or Museum displaying works by Masters.
Status: Completed.
On Wednesday I had the opportunity to see the Brave exhibit at Pixar Animation Studios. A few takeaways (stream-of-consciousness style): digital painting over acrylic; storyboarding from sketches to gray tonal values; character development and poses in relation to other characters (in this case, bears); computer generation of hair and fiber; computer generation of muscles in a running horse; clay models depicting proportions and depth; art research in the drawing of knuckles and hands; character blending into the environment in a stylized treatment.
